Scholarships at Gadsden State Community College

The Community Service Scholarship is available to students at Gadsden State Community College. You must have experienced unusual or emergency circumstances that affect your ability to attend college to qualify for this award.

The Summer Six Scholarship is available to entering freshmen at Gadsden State Community College. You must be a resident of Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Etowah, St. Clair, or Talladega County to be eligible for this award.

The Transfer Scholarship is available to students at Gadsden State Community College. You must be transferring to Jacksonville State University, University of Alabama at Birmingham, University of Alabama in Huntsville or University of Montevallo and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to qualify for this award.

The Tyson Food Waiver Scholarship is available to students at Gadsden State Community College. You must be a displaced employee of Tyson to qualify for this award.

The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Transfer Scholarship is available to students at Gadsden State Community College. You must be transferring to the University of Alabama at Birmingham and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to qualify for this award.

The University of Alabama in Huntsville Transfer Scholarship is available to students at Gadsden State Community College. You must be transferring to the University of Alabama in Huntsville and have a minimum GPA of 3.5 to qualify for this award.

The University of Montevallo Transfer Scholarship is available to students at Gadsden State Community College. You must be transferring to the University of Montevallo and have a minimum GPA of 3.25 to qualify for this award.

The Upward Bound Bridge Scholarship is available to students at Gadsden State Community College. You must have participated in the Upward Bound Program to qualify for this award.

The Victor Ficker Endowment Scholarship is available to students at Gadsden State Community College.

The Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 637 Scholarship is available to second-year students at Gadsden State Community College. You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to qualify for this award. Preference is given to students with family members who are veterans.
