Scholarships at Hendrix College

The Academic Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen at Hendrix College. This award is based on your GPA, standardized test scores, leadership, recommendations, and extracurricular activities.

Scholarship for incoming freshmen who are enrolling at Hendrix College freshmen and are majoring in or participate in the schools music, theatre or art programs. Selection based on audition or portfolio, interview, recommendations, academic performance, test scores, and extracurricular activities. Number of awards may vary. Scholarship for incoming freshmen enrolling at Hendrix College. Applicants must have a 3.6 GPA in college preparatory classes, a minimum ACT score of 32 or SAT of 1410. Scholarship for incoming freshmen enrolling at Hendrix College who are Arkansas Governors Distinguished Scholars. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA in college preparatory classes, a minimum ACT score of 32 or SAT of 1410 or are National Merit Finalists or National Achievement Scholars. Selection is based on academic performance, test scores, leadership, extracurricular activities, recommendations, and an interview. Due date, number of awards and award amounts may vary. Renewable.

The IB Diploma Recognition Award is available to entering freshmen at Hendrix College. You must be an IB diploma candidate to be eligible for this award.

Scholarship for incoming freshmen entering Hendrix College who are National Merit Finalists, National Achievement Finalists or National Hispanic Finalists. Students must list Hendrix College as their first college choice. Due date and number of awards may vary. Nonrenewable.

Scholarship for incoming freshmen enrolling at Hendrix College who are members of the United Methodist Church. Applicants must have leadership experience in local and regional United Methodist Youth ministries, and demonstrate potential for Christian leadership on the Hendrix campus.
