Scholarships at California Lutheran University

The Alumni Scholarship is available to full - time students at California Lutheran University. You must be the child or grandchild of a CLU alumni to be considered for this award.

The CLU Guarantee Scholarship is available to entering freshmen and transfer students at California Lutheran University. You must have been admitted to, or be transferring from, one of the following University of California institutions: UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Davis, Santa Barbara, or San Diego. CLU will match the average cost of attendance at the aforementioned institutions.

The CLU Presidential Scholarship is open to entering freshmen at California Lutheran University. You must demonstrate high academic achievement to be eligible for this award.

The Congregational Partners in Education Scholarship is available to full - time students at California Lutheran University. You must be a church member (of any faith background) and receive funding from your congregation to be considered for this award.

The ELCA Partner's in Ministry Scholarship is available to full - time students at California Lutheran University. You must be the unmarried child of an ECLA clergy to be eligible for this award.

The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is available to transfer students entering California Lutheran University. Selection is based on college GPA and the number of transferable credits.

The Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) Scholarship is open to students at California Lutheran University. You must demonstrate exceptional talent in visual arts, theatre arts, or vocal or instrumental music to be considered for this award.
