Annual award for Connecticut resident who is an undergraduate or graduate student that is a member of the Connecticut Library Association and is studying Librarian Science full-time. Applicant must agree to attend the Awards Ceremony and to write a brief article on their impressions of the conference for Connecticut Libraries. Due date varies. Annual award for Connecticut residents who are graduating high school seniors that plan to pursue postsecondary education at an the University of Connecticut. Applicant must have financial need. Contact students guidance counselor to determine if their high school participates in this program.

Annual award for residents of East Lyme, Groton, Ledyard, Lyme, Montville, New London, North Stonington, Old Lyme, Salem, Stonington, or Waterford in New London County, Connecticut admitted to the University of Connecticut and are enrolled in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. Financial need is considered. Contact high school counselor, the colleges financial aid office, or the Foundation for more information and/or application.

The Day of Pride Scholarship is open to outstanding Connecticut high school seniors who will attend the University of Connecticut. You must be from a disadvantaged background and demonstrate academic ability though high school grades, test scores, class rank, and letters of recommendation. You must also demonstrate financial need, a commitment to diversity and multiculturalism, leadership ability and contributions to the community to be considered for this award.

Annual award for Connecticut resident who is an undergraduate or graduate student that is a member of the Connecticut Library Association and is studying Librarian Science full-time. Applicant must demonstrate extraordinary personal courage in the defense of intellectual freedom or for the implementation of a successful and creative project developed to raise awareness of intellectual freedom issues. Annual award for Connecticut resident who is enrolled but not yet graduated from Capital Community College. Applicant must take at least one LTA class during the academic year. The Nutmeg Scholarship is available to entering freshmen at the University of Connecticut. You must be graduating from a Connecticut high school with exceptional academic accomplishments and demonstration of leadership or community service activities to be considered for this award.

The Presidential Scholars Award is available to incoming freshman students at the University of Connecticut who rank number one or two in their graduating class. You must be a resident of Connecticut to be eligible for this renewable award.

Scholarship for graduate student or faculty member of the Schools of Nursing of Boston College, University of Connecticut or Yale University conducting research about Nursing as a healing art. Submit 5-7 page proposal describing the nature of the research and how it will extend knowledge of nursing as a healing art.

The STEM Scholarship is available to undergraduate students at University of Connecticut who have achieved a very competitive high school academic average. You must demonstrate extraordinary involvement in a STEM field and plan to major in a STEM discipline to be eligible for this renewable award.

Scholarship for Connecticut residents who are graduating high school student-athlete seniors that plan to pursue undergraduate postsecondary education at the University of Connecticut to enter the School of Business Administration. Special consideration will be given to employees or children of employees of Michaels entities or residents of towns where Michaels stores are located.

The UConn Award is available to incoming freshman students at the University of Connecticut who have achieved a very competitive high school academic average. This is a renewable award.

The UConn Promise Grant is available to incoming freshman students at the University of Connecticut who are recognized as New Haven, Hartford, or Waterbury Promise Scholars.

The UConn Stamps Scholars Award is available to incoming freshman students at the University of Connecticut. You must have an exceptional academic record and qualify for the Nutmeg or Day of Pride Scholarship to be eligible for this renewable award.

Scholarship for student-athletes that plan to pursue postsecondary education at the University of Connecticut in the School of Business. Preference will be given to Connecticut residents. Application available at any Michaels Jewelers location. Renewable; 3 years.

The Updike, Kelly and Spellacy, P.C. Scholarship is available to incoming students at the University of Connecticut, School of Law. You must demonstrate academic promise and financial need to be eligible for this award.
