Scholarships at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University

Florida A&M University-Army ROTC Room and Board Scholarship is available to undergraduate students at Florida A&M University who are U.S. Citizens and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. You must be a recipient of the national ROTC scholarship or two-year scholarship at the time of enrollment, enroll in a program of study that meets the needs of the Armed Services, and be eligible to become a commissioned officer to qualify for this award. Selection will be based on demonstrated leadership, community service, participation in extracurricular activities, and academic merit.

The Florida A&M University-George W. Gore Award is available to incoming freshman students at Florida A&M University who exhibit high ideas and scholastic achievement. You must have a minimum 3.75 GPA, 1330 SAT or 29 ACT, and have earned a minimum score of 76 on the ALEKS Math exam for Engineering, Physical, Life, Natural and Computer Sciences majors (all others must earn at least a 61 on the ALEKS Math exam) to be eligible for this award. In addition, you must be a U.S. resident or permanent resident. Selected recipients are expected to maintain the specific enrollment program under which the award was made and enroll in 15 credit hours per semester. Award is renewable for a maximum of eight semesters provided the conditions outlined on the scholarship requirements page are met.

The Florida A&M University-Navy ROTC Room and Board Scholarship is available to undergraduate students at Florida A&M University who are U.S. Citizens and have a minimum GPA of 3.0. You must be a recipient of the national ROTC scholarship or two-year scholarship at the time of enrollment, enroll in a program of study that meets the needs of the Armed Services, and be eligible to become a commissioned officer to qualify for this award. The Florida A&M University-President's Special Scholarship is available to incoming freshman students at Florida A&M University who are diverse and have special talents outside of the classroom setting. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.5, 1220 SAT or 27 ACT, and have earned a minimum score of 76 on the ALEKS Math exam for Engineering, Physical, Life, Natural and Computer Sciences majors (all others must earn at least a 61 on the ALEKS Math exam) to be eligible for this award. Selected recipients are expected to maintain the specific enrollment program under which the award was made and enroll in 15 credit hours per semester.
