Scholarships at Piedmont University

The Alpha Chi Scholarship is open to incoming freshmen at Piedmont College. You must be from one of the following Georgia counties: Habersham, Banks, Hall, White, Stephens, Rabun and Towns. Selection is based on a combination of GPA, SAT, and the quality and nature of high school activities.

The Archibald and Helen McPheeters Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The Atos D. Joe Lattanzi Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must have a 3.0 GPA or equivalent high school average, outstanding personal character, and demonstrated financial need to be eligible for this award.

The C. Lisle and Mabel S. Percy Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The Carroll Love Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College who plan a career in public education.

The Charles C. and Lillian A. Parkhurst Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The Corian Stambaugh Lundquist Book Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must demonstrate financial need and the ability to complete the degree requirements to qualify for this award.

The Dean's Scholarship is open to incoming freshmen at Piedmont College. You must have an SAT score of at least 1000 or an ACT score of at least 21 to qualify for this renewable award. Recipients are required to live in college housing and be actively involved on campus.

The Dr. Claude and Mrs. Merle Purcell Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The Dr. Pearl Nix Scholarship is open to juniors and seniors at Piedmont College. You must be pursuing a career in education and have at least a 3.0 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Earl D. and Nelle Hood Higdon Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The Elizabeth Sawyer Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must be a top biology student to be eligible for this award.

The Fine Arts Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College who are in art, music or theatre. You must demonstrate your talent by either auditioning or providing a portfolio of work to qualify for this renewable award.

The Flint Scholarship is open to female students at Piedmont College. You must have a minimum SAT score of 1180 and be a U.S citizen to qualify for this award.

The Frank and Mary Holcomb Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The George Elton and Helen Cowen Clark Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must demonstrate financial need to qualify for this award.

The Glenn Ellard Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, outstanding personal character and demonstrated financial need to be eligible for this award.

The H.B. Forester Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College who exhibit leadership.

The Harold S. Hannum Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must be studying for a career in either music or nursing, have a 3.0 GPA and outstanding character, and demonstrate financial need to qualify for this award.

The Imogene T. Johnson Graduate Education Scholarship is open to graduate students at Piedmont College. You must have a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0 and at a least a graduate GPA of 3.5. You must also be willing to carry out reading research using the National Reading Panel recommendations or be pursuing a national board certification to qualify for this award.

The J. Edward Harp Memorial Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The J. Louis and Helen J. Martens Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must demonstrate financial need and be making satisfactory progress toward graduation to qualify for this award.

The Jack H. Clarke Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The James F. Mellichamp Music Scholarship is open to music students at Piedmont College. You must have an above-average college GPA, and demonstrate financial need and outstanding personal character to qualify for this award.

The Lee Heuson Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The Lowe-Black Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need to qualify for this award.

The Marvin L. and Mildred L. Johnson Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College.

The Mary C. Lane Scholarship for Graduate Teacher Education is open to graduate students at Piedmont College. You must be studying education to qualify for this award.

The Mary L. Griggs Mathematics Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must be a math major and demonstrate financial need to qualify for this award.

The Neighborhood Program is open to undergraduate students in the Demorest Campus of Piedmont College. You must be at least 25 years old living in Habersham, Banks, Franklin, Hall, Jackson, Rabun, Stephens,Towns or White County to qualify for this award.

The Nickerson Congregational Heritage Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must be 25 years of age or less, and have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 or an SAT of at least 1100. Students who are members of a member church of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches or United Church of Christ are eligible to receive an award equivalent to one third of tuition. Recipients are required to live in campus housing.

The Thurmon Wiley Purcell Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must be pursuing a career in education either on the undergraduate or graduate level to qualify for this award.

The Vera S. Lindgren Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must demonstrate financial need and the ability to complete the degree requirements to be eligible for this award.

The Weldon and Betty Keckley Mathematics Scholarship is open to students at Piedmont College. You must be majoring or minoring in math, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate financial need to qualify for this award.
