Scholarships at Illinois State University

The Anna Ropp Scholarship Fund is available to students attending Illinois State University - Mennonite College of Nursing. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award. Preference will be given to a non-traditional nursing student in their junior or senior year, or participating in the RN/BSN or equivalent program or graduate students who demonstrate concern for body, mind and spiritual aspects of nursing.

The Blanche Good Scholarship is available to students at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, College of Education who are non-traditional students interested in multicultural issues who are studying elementary, early childhood or special education.

The Clara Gerhart Endowed Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students attending Illinois State University - Mennonite College of Nursing.

The Colwell Outstanding Pre- medical Student Award is available to seniors at Illinois State University- College of Arts and Sciences. You must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and have completed the MCAT to be eligible for this award. In addition, you must demonstrate outstanding achievement and personal qualities needed to become a competent, dedicated, and compassionate physician.

The Edwin Niemi Metals Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students attending Illinois State University- College of Fine Arts. You must have a concentration in metals and demonstrate strong artistic ability through the submission of a portfolio to be eligible for this award.

The Kopecky Scholarship is available to students at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, College of Education. You must be a non-traditional student, be majoring in teaching, and demonstrates a deep commitment to the profession to be eligible for this award.

The Myron and Jewel Ash Scholarship is available to students at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, College of Education. You must be an African-American male and plan to pursue a career teaching elementary or middle school to be eligible for this award.

The Nims Associates Award is available to full- time juniors and seniors attending Illinois State University- College of Business. You must be enrolled in the business information systems sequence in accountancy and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award.

The Terwilliger Scholarship is available to students at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, College of Education. You must be minimum GPA of 2.5 and majoring in teacher education and plan to work in schools that include students from underserved populations to be eligible for this award.

The Timothy Collins Stafford Scholarship is available to students at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, College of Education who are non-traditional students returning to study elementary education after many years of life experience. A minimum 3.25 GPA is required.
