Art Scholarship Competition Qualified high-school students already accepted to ISU must possess: at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA; have completed a Core 40 or other college-preparatory high school diploma; and have declared a major in Art and Design. Up to 8 Creative & Performing Arts Awards: between $3,000 and $6,000 annually, and renewable for 4 years will be awarded. The primary criterion for the Creative & Performing Arts Award is the student’s potential for contributing to the quality of the arts at ISU. A student must enroll as an Art and Design major. The award is forfeited if the student changes his/her major.

Graduate students in the School Psychology Program at ISU for national and international travel related to professional development. Recipients of the award should honor the professional interests and values espoused by Dr. Grimley, and these include a commitment to child and adolescent development, psycho-educational interventions for parents and families, multicultural diversity, and international school psychology. For awards of $1,000 or more, recipients must submit a two page written summary about the award during the semester following receiving the funds. If no eligible graduate student applies, current faculty members of ISU are welcome to apply for the award.

For prose, the sample must be at least four pages, and for poetry the sample must consist of at least three poems.
