Scholarships at Vincennes University

Scholarship for Sullivan County, Indian residents who are undergraduate students attending Vincennes University pursuing studies in Machine Trades Technology. Selection is based on activities, work experience, essays, recommendations, academic achievement, and financial need. Number of awards and award amount may vary.

Scholarship for current/former FFA members who are undergraduate students at select colleges pursuing studies related to Agricultural Business, Management, Finance, Marketing, Merchandising, Sales, Engineering or Food Science. Student must be a U.S. citizen. Select schools are: Vincennes University, Blackhawk Community College, Spoon River College, Rend Lake College, Purdue University, University of Illinois, Western Illinois University, Illinois State University, Iowa State University, University of Minnesota, University of Missouri, Oklahoma State University, North Carolina A&T; University, New Mexico State University, University of Nebraska, Florida A&M; University, Kansas State University, Texas Tech University, Texas A&M; University, or Ohio State University. Criteria used for selection includes students GPA (minimum 3.0), leadership in FFA activities, leadership in community activities, and involvement in the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE). Nonrenewable.

Scholarship for Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Chapter 1354 members who are graduating high school seniors or college freshmen enrolled full-time at Purdue University-School of Aviation, Vincennes University, Indiana State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, or University of Illinois pursuing a career as a commercial pilot, air transport pilot, airport administration, or in the field of Aeronautical Engineering. Students must exhibit good character and commitment to school and community. Selection is based on standardized test scores, GPA, and/or class rank which demonstrates academic preparation and performance. Number of awards may vary. A personal statement and an essay must be included with application packet.

Scholarship for Johnson County, Indiana residents who are graduating high school seniors or college freshmen enrolled full-time at Purdue University-School of Aviation, Vincennes University, Indiana State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, or University of Illinois pursuing a career as a commercial pilot, air transport pilot, airport administration, or in the field of Aeronautical Engineering. Scholarship for active Indiana Air and Army National Guard members who are undergraduate students enrolled full-time at Ball State University (all campuses), Indiana State University, Indiana University, Ivy Tech State College, Purdue University, University of Southern Indiana, or Vincennes University. Students must be high school graduates, home-schooled, or GED recipients, and be residents of Indiana since December 31st of the previous year. A FAFSA must be submitted by March 10th. Deadlines and award amounts may vary.

Scholarship for undergraduate students enrolled at Vincennes University pursuing studies in Music. Students must participate in the Vincennes Univesity School of Music. Primary consideration given to Lawrence County, Indiana residents. Deadlines and award amounts may vary.

Scholarship for graduating high school seniors of Washington High School planning to attend Vincennes University and major in Business or Education. Selection is based on work history, financial need, school activities, community and church activities, GPjA and ACT/SAT scores. Due date and number of awards may vary.
