Scholarships at New England College of Optometry

The Alumni Association Scholarship is open to students at New England College of Optometry. You must be in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need and community service to be eligible for this award.

The Dr. Joseph J. Levitan Prize is open to graduating students at New England College of Optometry. You must demonstrate excellence in the doctor/patient relationship and be in good academic standing with acceptable grades to be eligible for this award.

The Edith and Erich Heymans Scholarship is open to OD-3 students at New England College of Optometry. You must be in high scholastic standing and exhibit integrity, dedication and a high level of accuracy to be eligible for this award.

The Israel and Sylvia Grossman Scholarship is open to second-, third- and fourth-year students at New England College of Optometry. You must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need, as well as potential to become an active and concerned member of the alumni body and optometric profession to be eligible for this award.

The Jean M. Lank Memorial Scholarship is open to first-year students at New England College of Optometry. You must be a nurse (RN or LPN) or an adult making a career change to be eligible for this award.

The New England College of Optometry Award for Clinical Excellence is open to second-year students at New England College of Optometry. You must demonstrate superior clinical competence to be eligible for this award.

The Otto Hochstadt Scholarship is open to first-year students at New England College of Optometry. You must have a remarkable GPA in the bio-science curriculum and demonstrate financial need and an industrious work ethic.

The Robert A. Titlebaum, OD Clinical Proficiency Award is open to students at New England College of Optometry. You must demonstrate excellence in the doctor/patient relationship and be in good academic standing to be eligible for this award.

The Rose and Warren Guilford Dr. Arnelda Levine and Dr. Janet Mechanic OD1 Scholarship is open to first-year students at New England College of Optometry. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum 300 OAT score to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to female students.

The William C. Barrett Memorial Scholarship is open to fourth-year students at New England College of Optometry. You must demonstrate outstanding clinical skills and documented financial need to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to students meeting the above criteria who served in clinical rotations at the Omni Centers in Atlanta, Georgia and Phoenix, Arizona.
