Scholarships at Kellogg Community College

Scholarship for residents of Calhoun County, Michigan and contingent counties who are enrolled into an undergraduate therapy program (Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech, Language Pathology, or Hearing Audiology) or the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Kellogg Community College. Students must have financial need, exhibit strong moral character, academic merit, and community involvement. Preference given to Calhoun County, Michigan residents. An essay and a photo must be included with application packet. Nonrenewable.

Scholarship for residents of or employees in Calhoun County, Michigan enrolled in a Nursing program at an accredited Michigan college or the Nursing Program at Kellogg Community College. Students must be employed in one of the hospitals or medical facilities in Calhoun County, Michigan for a minimum of one year. Selection is based on financial need, scholastic performance, and motivation. An essay and a photo must be included with application packet. Nonrenewable; recipients may reapply.

Scholarship for residents of the Battle Creek, Michigan area who are undergraduate students attending Kellogg Community College and are enrolled in the Police Academy. Applicants must be considered a minority by race or representation in the police officer profession. Selection is based on evidence of strong character including self motivation, perseverance, satisfactory academic performance, and some evidence of financial need. Annual award for graduating high school seniors from St. Philip Catholic Central High School planning to attend Kellogg Community College. Students must have a minimum 2.5 GPA in college preparatory classes, social/athletic/cultural activities, and financial need. An essay and a photo must be included with application packet. Renewable. Scholarship for graduating high school seniors from the Battle Creek, Michigan area planning to attend Kellogg Community College. Students must exemplify academic and leadership skills. Award amount may vary. An essay and photo must be included with application packet.

Annual award for undergraduate students who reside or are employed at Calhoun County, Michigan enrolled at a patient-oriented health care program, or allied health area. Selection is based on merit, academic achievement, financial need, and commitment to the field. Consideration given to students attending Kellogg Community College. Annual award for a full-time undergraduate student (freshmen ineligible) enrolled in a select Michigan institution majoring in Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Select institutions are Glen Oaks Community College, Jackson Community College, Kalamazoo Valley Community College, Kellogg Community College, Southwestern Michigan College, or Western Michigan University. Nonrenewable; but recipients may reapply annually.

Annual award for greater Battle Creek, Michigan area residents who are enrolled at Kellogg Community College in a Radiography program. Preference given to students who will commit to at least one year of employment in the Battle Creek, Michigan area. An essay and a photo must be included with application packet.
