Scholarships at Michigan State University

The Dean Charles H. King Full-Tuition Scholarship is available to students entering Michigan State University, College of Law. You must have established an outstanding academic record, have received a score in the top 15 percent of Law School Admission Test takers, have a minimum GPA of 3.75 and a minimum LSAT score of 161 to qualify for this award.

The Faculty Full-Tuition Merit Scholarship is available to students entering Michigan State University, College of Law. You must demonstrate the potential to excel in your legal studies, have a minimum GPA of 3.6 and a minimum LSAT score of 158 to qualify for this award.

The Trustee Full Tuition Scholarship is available to students entering Michigan State University, College of Law. You must come from a personal and professional background that will contribute to a richer diversity within the student body and, as attorneys, to the legal profession to qualify for this award.

The Agnes Hunt and Claude Marshall Cade Endowed Scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Social Science. You must demonstrate academic achievement and financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Dr. Kwan-Wai So Memorial Scholarship Fund in History is available to graduate students enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Social Science. You must be majoring in history to be eligible for this award. Extra consideration shall be given to applicants who have a focus or concentration in Asian History.

The Hagen Bashian Trust is open to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. You must demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Janice Marston Fund is available to undergraduate or graduate students enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Education. You must be an adult student re-entering the University to complete your education and demonstrate academic achievement and financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Michigan Horse Council Endowmentis open to students enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. You must be majoring in animal science and demonstrate through your life a commitment to the equine industry to be eligible for this award.

The Rodeo Club Scholarship is open to entering freshman or transfer students enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. You must be majoring in animal science, be enrolled full time, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and be planning to participate in the Rodeo Club NIRA sanctioned events to be eligible for this award.

The Stevens Award in Medical Technologyis available to juniors or seniors enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Natural Science. You must be enrolled in the biomedical laboratory diagnostics program to be eligible for this award.

The Tournament of Friendship Scholarshipis available to minority students enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Social Science. You must be majoring in criminal justice, be a resident of Michigan, be in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Academic Excellence Scholarship is available to students entering Michigan State University, College of Law. You must have demonstrated academic accomplishment, have a minimum GPA of 3.5 and a minimum LSAT score of 157 to qualify for this award.

The Alumni Merit Scholarship is available to students entering Michigan State University, College of Law. You must demonstrate potential to achieve significant academic performance in your legal studies, have a minimum GPA of 3.2 and a minimum LSAT score of 157 to qualify for this award.

The Arthur C. and Lois D. Kittleson Endowed Scholarship is available to out-of-state students at Michigan State University. You must be majoring in pre-medicine or education, and have military or public service experience to be eligible for this award.

Scholarship for residents of the Kennel Club area who are undergraduate or graduate students currently attending the Veterinary College at Michigan State University. Students must plan to enter a small animal practice upon graduation. An essay and a photo must be included with application packet. Nonrenewable.

The Broad International Business Forum Scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Michigan State University, Eli Broad College of Business. To be eligible for this award, you must have been accepted in an Eli Broad College of Business Study Abroad program in China, or have attended four years of high school outside the United States of America.

Annual award for student who plans to study the two- or four-year Turfgrass Program at the Michigan State University. Applicant mut be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. Student must have a minimum 3.75 GPA. Selection is based on students scholarship, leadership, character, and estimated potential for future accomplishments.

Annual award for graduating high school seniors from Harper Creek High School planning to attend Central Michigan University, Kalamazoo College, Michigan State University, Western Michigan University, or Kellogg Community College. The Charles Stewart Mott Doctoral Fellowship is open to doctoral students enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Agriculture and Natural Resources.

The Chef Robert H. Nelson Les Gourmets Endowed Scholarship is available to students enrolled in the Michigan State University, Eli Broad College of Business. You must be majoring in hospitality business, be in good academic standing and be recommended by the Les Gourmets Executive Board to be eligible for this award.

The David Edward Kraft Memorial Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen students at Michigan State University. You must be a resident of Genesee County, and have a minimum 3.5 GPA and a minimum 25 ACT score to be eligible for this award.

Scholarship for college sophomores, juniors or seniors attending Michigan State University enrolled in a Floriculture program. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be a citizen or resident of the U.S. or Canada. Number of awards and award amount may vary.

Scholarship for first-year medical students enrolled full-time at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Students must demonstrate financial need and academic achievement. Preference given to students who belong to underrepresented minority groups in the College of Osteopathic Medicine, plan to practice primary care medicine, show financial need, and who are Michigan residents. Scholarship for graduating high school seniors from Battle Creek Central High School planning to attend Kellogg Community College or Michigan State University. Selection is based on academic achievement, involvement in community and neighborhood activities. Consideration given to financial need. The Honors College National Scholarship is available to students entering Michigan State University. You must be an out-of-state student and invited into the Honors College to be eligible for this award.

Annual award for Michigan resident who is a graduating high school senior from Marshall High School who plans to pursue postsecondary education at Michigan State University. Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, demonstrate leadership skills, and participate in extracurricular activities.

Scholarship for Michigan residents who are graduating high school seniors enrolling in a Michigan State University ABET accredited Engineering program. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum ACT score of 26. An essay must be included with application packet. Due date is the first Monday of January.

Scholarship for Michigan residents who are graduating high school seniors enrolling in a Michigan State University ABET accredited Engineering program. Students must have an interest in the biosystme engineering profession. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and a minimum ACT score of 26. Scholarship for undergraduate students at Michigan State University enrolled in the Institute of Agricultural Technology in the Dairy Management Program. Applicants must be employees of members of the MMPA, enrolled full-time, have a minimum 2.0 GPA, and pursue a career in dairy farming. Due date may vary. Scholarship for undergraduate students at Michigan State University enrolled in the Institute of Agricultural Technology in the Dairy Management Program. Annual award for residents of Bay County, Michigan who are full-time undergraduate students at Michigan State University. Annual award for Michigan resident who is a graduating high school senior, or former graduate, from Marshall High School who plans to pursue postsecondary education at Michigan State University or Western Michigan University to major in Education. The Wade H. McCree Jr. Incentive Scholarship is available to high school freshmen who plan to attend Michigan State University. You must be a resident of Michigan and have at least a 3.0 GPA with a minimum 21 ACT score to be eligible for this award.

The Walter and Shirley Sperber Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen students at Michigan State University. You must have at least one deceased parent and a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award.

The William J. Lowe Endowed Scholarship for Undergraduate Study in Ireland is available to students enrolled in the Michigan State University, College of Arts and Letters. You must have demonstrated good academic standing and the requisite skills preparation and interest to achieve academic success in the study-abroad environment to be eligible for this award.
