Scholarships at Northwestern Michigan College

The Chase Dental Assistant Scholarship is available to students enrolled in the dental assistant program at Northwestern Michigan College. You must be a resident of Antrim, Benzie, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Leelanau or Wexford County to be eligible for this award. You must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be enrolled in at least six credits, and demonstrate financial need.

The Daisy Chain Scholarship is available to female students at Northwestern Michigan State College. You must be a resident of Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Antrim, Benzie or Kalkaska County to be eligible for this award.

The Duchene Foundation Culinary Scholarship is available to students at Northwestern Michigan College. You must be majoring in culinary arts, be enrolled in at least six credits, and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award.

The Glen A. Anderson Scholarship is available to students at Northwestern Michigan College. You must be from the service area, have a minimum GPA of 3.25 and be enrolled in the accounting program to be eligible for this award.

The Jane M. and Chester R. Jones Scholarship is available to full-time liberal studies students at Northwestern Michigan College. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Lobdell Teaching Restaurant Scholarship is available to first-year culinary arts students at Northwestern Michigan College. You must be from Antrim, Benzie, Kalkaska, Leelanau, Wexford, or Grand Traverse County to be eligible for this renewable award. You must also have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

The Magnum Hospitality Missy Memorial Scholarship is available to second year culinary arts students at Northwestern Michigan College. You must be a resident of the service area to qualify for this award.

The Marine Engineers Beneficial Association GLMA Scholarship is available to continuing maritime cadets at Northwestern Michigan College. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have completed at least 30 credit hours to be eligible for this award. You must also demonstrate financial need.

The NMC Divisional Scholarship is available to second-year students at Northwestern Michigan State College.

The Upward Bound Outstanding Student Scholarship is available to students at Northwestern Michigan State College. Selection is based on academic success, financial need and participation in the program. Preference is given to Upward Bound Program graduates attending NMC within two years of high school graduation.

The Votruba Family Scholarship is available to students at Northwestern Michigan State College.

The Walt and Pat Ross Music Scholarship is available to full-time students at Northwestern Michigan College. You must be majoring in music and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award.
