Scholarships at Hamline University

The Achievement Scholarship is available to entering freshmen students at Hamline University.

The Constance L. Bakken Fellowship is available to first-year students at Hamline University School of Law. You must demonstrate the strongest academic credentials to be eligible for this award. Fellowships are available in a variety of fields.

The Elsie Leavitt Blackhurst Public Service Scholarship is available to continuing female students at Hamline University School of Law. You must demonstrate a commitment to public service as a lawyer and plan on a career in public service. You must also have a minimum 2.5 law school GPA and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Honorable James A. Wright Scholarship is available to continuing students at Hamline University Law School. You must be a North Dakota resident with a demonstrated strong interest in trial practice. You must also exhibit a high level of integrity and civility to be eligible for this award.

The Honors Scholarship is available to entering freshmen at Hamline University.

The John S. Evans Scholarship is available to continuing students at Hamline University School of Law. You must demonstrate academic achievement in agricultural law courses or intend to practice in a rural community to be eligible for this award.

The Law Library Fellowship is available to students at Hamline University Law School. You must hold a master's degree in library science and be interested in a career in law librarianship to be eligible for this award.

The Presidential Scholarship is available to entering freshmen at Hamline University. .

The Robert J. Sheran Litigation and Practice Scholarship is available to students at Hamline University School of Law. You must have completed the Litigation Practice Course with a minimum "B" grade and demonstrate abilities in advocacy or litigation to be eligible for this award.

The Robert L. Levine Scholarship is available to continuing students at Hamline University School of Law. You must have excelled at HUSL despite entering with a low undergraduate GPA and a low LSAT score. You must also demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.
