Scholarships at University of Minnesota-Duluth

Scholarship for undergraduate students attending the University of Minnesota who are enrolled in the College of Agricultural, Food & Environmental Sciences and are members of the Minnesota Farm Bureau. Applicants must be holding an officers position in a U of M agricultural oriented organization, fraternity or sorority and be preparing for a career in the agriculture or food industry. Scholarship for graduating high school seniors of a Duluth Public High School planning to attend the University of Minnesota, Duluth, or the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. Applicants must be in the top 25% of their class. Preference is given to students with financial need. Selection is based on financial need, academic record, recommendations, and seriousness of purpose. Renewable.

Annual award for college juniors or seniors enrolled at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, South Dakota State University, North Dakota State University, or the University of Wisconsin, Stout majoring in Interior Design. A portfolio and personal statement must be included with application packet.

Scholarship for Society of American Military Engineers (SAME)-St. Paul Post members enrolled full-time at an accredited postsecondary institution pursuing studies in Engineering. Students must be dues paying members of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Post, the University of Minnesota Student Post (Minneapolis, Minnesota), or the North Dakota State University (Fargo, North Dakota) Student Post.

Scholarship for graduating high school seniors of a Duluth Central High School planning to attend the College of St. Scholastica, University of Minnesota Duluth, University of Wisconsin Superior, Lake Superior College, or Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, fine character, consideration for others, perseverance, and a desire to succeed. Selection is based on financial need, academic record, recommendations, and seriousness of purpose. Renewable.

Scholarship for Washington County, Minnesota and/or North St. Paul/Mapelwood School District in Minnesota residents who are undergraduate or graduate students enrolled at the University of Minnesota School of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences. Scholarship for female college juniors or seniors enrolled full-time at Marquette University, Michigan Technological University, Milwaukee School of Engineering, University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, University of Wisconsin-Platteville, University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Minnesota, Iowa State University, St. Norbert College, or Notre Dame majoring in Business or Engineering. Students must have a minimum 2.8 CGPA. Number of awards may vary. Two essays must be included with application packet. Renewable.

Annual award for residents of Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, or South Dakota who are FFA members and are graduating high school seniors enrolling at a selected four year college or university and will be pursuing studies in Agronomy. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen. Selected universities are: Colorado State University, Iowa State University, Kansas State University, University of Minnesota, University of Missouri, University of Nebraska, or South Dakota State University. Student must be a U.S. citizen. Criteria used for selection includes students GPA, ACT or SAT scores, class rank, leadership in FFA activities, leadership in community activities, and involvement in the Supervised Agricultural Experience Program (SAE). Scholarship for graduating high school seniors of a Duluth or Superior high school who are planning to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth or University of Wisconsin Superior and major in Business or Accounting. Applicants must be in the top 25% of their class. Preference is given to students with financial need. Scholarship for graduating high school seniors of a Duluth Public High School who are planning to attend Carlton College, University of Michigan or any branch of the University of Minnesota. Scholarship for graduating high school seniors of a St. Louis, Lake or Cook County, Minnesota high school. Students must be planning to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth. Applicants must be in the top 15% of their class. Preference is given to students with financial need.
