Scholarships at Chadron State College

The Dr. Alfred Blinde Memorial Scholarship is open to junior and senior students at Chadron State College. You must be pursuing a career in vocal music to be eligible for this award.

The Elizabeth and Bertha Braddock Memorial Scholarship is open to sophomore, junior and senior students at Chadron State College. You must be a resident of western Nebraska and demonstrate scholarship, character and involvement in activities to be eligible for this award.

The F. Clark and Norma T. Elkins Endowed Scholarship is open to junior and senior students at Chadron State College. You must be majoring in history, social science or elementary education, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Jacque & Dorothy Schmiedt Scholarship is open to seniors at Chadron State College. You must be enrolled in the professional education semester and be majoring in English or library media with a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. You must also be a graduate of a Wyoming high school.

The Jim Waechter Memorial Scholarship is open to sophomore, junior and senior students at Chadron State College. You must be majoring in theatre to be eligible for this award.

The Larry and Lavona Lemons Education Scholarship is open to junior and senior students at Chadron State College. You must be majoring in education, have a minimum 2.75 GPA, and have passed the PPST to be eligible for this award.

The Lyle Kime Memorial Scholarship is open to married students at Chadron State College. You must be majoring in business education or business administration and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Margaret L. (Peg) Gray Memorial Scholarship is open to sophomore, junior and senior students at Chadron State College. You must be majoring in art and have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Sandra Moreland Channer Memorial Scholarship is open to sophomore, junior and senior students at Chadron State College. You must be majoring in elementary education and first preference is given to a Cherry or Sheridan County high school graduate.

The Tom and Kathy Bass Endowed Scholarship is open to junior and senior students at Chadron State College. You must be majoring in business to be eligible for this award.
