Scholarships at Metropolitan Community College Area

The Arthur Kraft Memorial Scholarship for the Visual Arts is available to visual art majors attending Penn Valley Community College. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Dillingham Family Endowment Scholarship is available to full-time second-year students attending a Metropolitan Community College. You must be studying criminal justice or construction management. You must also have a minimum 3.0 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Dr. Charles A. Messner Scholarship is available to French or Spanish majors at Longview Community College. You must be a sophomore who has a minimum 2.5 GPA and earned 30 credit hours to qualify for this award.

The Garland and Amie Britt Nichols Scholarship is available to English or communication majors attending a Metropolitan Community College. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in English (2.5 overall) and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Graphic Communications International Union Local 235-M Scholarship is available to full-time graphic art/pre-press majors attending Penn Valley Community College. You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Harry A. King Scholarship is available to students attending Maple Woods Community College. You must be majoring in American history or political science and have at least a cumulative 3.0 GPA. You must also be a resident of the college district to qualify for this award.

The Harry and Edith Darby Foundation Scholarship is available to full-time art majors attending Penn Valley Community College. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and have the intent of transferring to a four-year baccalaureate degree to qualify for this award.

The Karen Krekel Rothove Memorial Scholarship is available to nursing majors attending Penn Valley Community College. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Kitty and Pat O'Brien Nursing Scholarship is available to students attending Penn Valley Community College. You must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and be pursuing an associate degree in nursing (ADN). In addition, you must have completed a minimum of six hours within the program to qualify for this award.

The Lashbrook Family Memorial Scholarship is available to students attending Maple Woods Community College. You must be studying electronics technology or a related field to qualify for this award.

The Linscomb Show-Me Scholarship is available to full-time students attending Maple Woods Community College. You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be a graduate of North Kansas High School or Liberty High School. You must also hold a job of a minimum of 10 hours weekly to qualify for this award.

The Longview Automotive Scholarship is available to automotive students at Longview Community College. You must be a college district resident and have a minimum 2.0 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Mr. and Mrs. William A. Lewis Memorial Scholarship is available to students at Longview Community College. You must be a sophomore student, maintaining a 2.5 GPA and 3.0 GPA in English or communications classes to qualify for this award. A recommendation from an instructor is required.

The Patricia M. Walsh Scholarship is available to students attending Maple Woods Community College. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need to qualify for this award.

The President's Scholarship is available to students attending a Metropolitan Community College. You must be enrolled less than full time with at least six credit hours, but no more than 11. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and live in the district to qualify for this award.

The Ray M. Lawless Memorial Scholarship is available to students attending a Blue River or Longview Community College. You must be majoring in the liberal arts, be a resident of Missouri, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA. You must also demonstrate financial need and have achieved a minimum of 24 credit hours in liberal arts at MCC to be eligible for this award.

The Ric Efros Memorial Scholarship is available to students at Longview Community College. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and be involved with Project ABLE to qualify for this award.

The Robert P. Lyons Scholarship is available to in-state students attending a Metropolitan Community College. You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Ruth Voorhees Memorial Scholarship is available to full-time students at Longview Community College. You must be a sophomore majoring in a social science, preferably sociology and plan to transfer to obtain a baccalaureate degree in social science. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Student Activity Grant is available to students attending a Metropolitan Community College. You must demonstrate outstanding performance in officially recognized student activities such as art, drama, musical performances, college publications, college clubs and student government. You must also be a part-time student and have a minimum 2.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Thomas S. Kessler Memorial Scholarship is available to in-state students at Longview Community College. You must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need to qualify for this award.

The Veterinary Technology Club Scholarship is available to students attending Maple Woods Community College. You must be in the veterinary technology program and have at least a cumulative 2.0 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Wayne Robuck Scholarship is available to students at Longview Community College. You must be majoring an allied health field or science education, as well have a minimum 2.5 GPA in science or health classes and a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA.

The William J. Mann Scholarship is available to students attending Longview or Penn Valley College. You must be majoring in education and be involved in student government or community volunteer service activities with a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.
