Scholarships at State University of New York at Cortland

The Gerald N. DiGiusto Scholarship is open to seniors at SUNY Cortland. You must be majoring in studio art to be eligible for this award.

The John A. Macphee Scholarship is open to sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students enrolled in the Recreation and Leisure Studies Department at the State University of New York, College at Cortland. You must demonstrate high academic achievement and professional promise to qualify for this award.

The Marilou B. Wright 68 Scholarship for Non-Traditional Women is open to full-time female undergraduates at SUNY Cortland. You must be at least a sophomore who is a non-traditional student and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to qualify for this award.

The Murray Family Scholarship is open to freshmen at the State University of New York, College at Cortland. Preference is given to a student who has positively affected their community and has demonstrated financial need.

The Ralph Adams Brown and Marion R. Brown Scholarship is open to new freshmen and transfer students at SUNY Cortland. You must be a non - traditional student to be eligible for this award.

The Ruth Hart Blanchard '23 Scholarship is open to new freshmen students at SUNY Cortland. You must be majoring in early childhood education and demonstrate achievement and financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Spiegle Willcox Scholarship is open to continuing students who are participating in the instrumental ensemble at SUNY Cortland. To qualify for this award, you must demonstrate outstanding musical performance skills and financial need.

The Student Government Association Leadership Scholarship is open to sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students at SUNY Cortland. You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and can demonstrate leadership skills through SGA or other campus service projects as first priority.

The Suzanne Wingate Memorial Scholarship is open to students in the sports management program at the State University of New York, College at Cortland. You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and have completed 56.5 credit hours at time of application (12 of those credit hours to have been completed at SUNY Cortland) to qualify for this award.

The Thomas L. Goodale '61 Scholarship is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors majoring in the area of recreation at SUNY Cortland. You must have demonstrated a strong record of community or school service activities and high academic achievement. Financial need may also be considered.

The Uschald Study Abroad Scholarship is open to students accepted into a study abroad program at the State University of New York, College at Cortland. You must have a minimum 2.7 GPA and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident to qualify for this award.

The Walter and Anne Kreig Memorial Scholarship is open to sophomores, juniors, and seniors at the SUNY Cortland. You must be majoring in education, have completed at least 26 credits, and demonstrate financial need and community service to be eligible for this award.
