Scholarships at SUNY at Fredonia

The Archer and Mabel Fox Scholarship is open to biology majors at SUNY Fredonia. You must be from an agricultural or rural background and plan on pursuing a career in the biological sciences to be eligible for this award.

The Carnahan-Jackson Scholarship is available to entering freshmen at the State University of New York at Fredonia. Freshmen must have a minimum 92 percent high school average and a minimum 28 ACT / 1250 SAT score to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to students from the Jamestown, NY area.

The Dean's Scholar Award is available to entering freshmen at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must plan to live on campus to be eligible for this award. You must also have a 90 unweighted high school average, and a minimum 1080 SAT / 22 ACT score.

The Fredonia Commuter Scholar Award is available to entering freshmen at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must be planning to live at home to be eligible for this award. You must also have an 85 unweighted high school average, and a minimum 1000 SAT / 22 ACT score.

The Fredonia Promise Award is available to entering freshmen at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must plan to live on campus to be eligible for this award. You must also have a 90 unweighted high school average, and a minimum 1080 SAT / 22 ACT score.

The Fredonia Scholar Award is available to entering freshmen at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must have a 93 unweighted high school average, and a minimum 1080 SAT / 22 ACT score to be eligible for this award.

The Good Neighbor Award is available to entering freshmen and transfer students at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must be a resident of Pennsylvania or Ohio to be eligible for this award.

The Honors Program Scholarship is available to first - year honors students at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must have a 92 unweighted high school average, and a minimum 1150 SAT / 25 ACT score to be eligible for this award.

The James J. Kaminski Scholarship Endowment is available to entering freshmen at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must be majoring in biochemistry or chemistry to be eligible for this award. You must also have a 92 unweighted high school average, and a minimum 1250 SAT / 28 ACT score.

The Kelly Family Scholarship Endowment is available to entering freshmen at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must be majoring in biochemistry or chemistry to be eligible for this award. You must also have a 92 unweighted high school average, and a minimum 1250 SAT / 28 ACT score.

The President's Science/Math Scholarship is available to entering freshmen at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must be majoring in mathematics, science, or education to be eligible for this award. You must also have a 90 unweighted high school average, and a minimum 1200 SAT / 27 ACT score.

The Yunghans-Mirabelli Science Achievement Award is available to entering freshmen at the State University of New York at Fredonia. You must be majoring in biology or molecular genetics to be eligible for this award. You must also have a 92 unweighted high school average, and a minimum 1250 SAT / 28 ACT score.
