Scholarships at Excelsior University

The David W. Miller Scholarship is open to students at Excelsior College. You must be enrolled in a business or liberal arts degree program with a minimum 3.0 GPA, and have completed at least half of the program to be considered for this award. You may not be receiving outside educational support.

The Lieutenant General Joseph S. and Anita L. Laposata Scholarship is open to students at Excelsior College. You must be a servicemember to be eligible for this ward.

The Lois G. and William T. Moran Scholarship is open to students at Excelsior College. You must be enrolled in the nursing degree program and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Master Sergeant David K. Thuma Scholarship is available to members of the U.S. Army Special Forces, Career Management Field (CMF) 18 who are students at Excelsior College. You must be a Command Sergeant Major (CMF 00Z) of the Special Forces who hold a secondary MOS in CMF 18. You must also have been in the Special Forces for at least three years and demonstrate financial need. A recommendation from your immediate supervisor and unit commander in grade O-5 or above is required to be considered for this award.

The Military Spouse Scholarship is open to students at Excelsior College. You must be the spouse of an active duty servicemember and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The President's Partner Scholarship is open to students at Excelsior College. You must be employed by an Excelsior partnership organization to be eligible for this award.

The President's Scholarship is open to students at Excelsior College. You must demonstrate financial need to be considered for this award.

The Richard and Barbara Reeves-Ellington Scholarship is open to students pursuing bachelors degrees at Excelsior College. This scholarship is awarded based on an essay focusing on ways you plan to pursue leadership roles that address gender issues and issues central to Middle Eastern and Central Asian Culture. Your essay should not to exceed one page.

The Roy L. Simpson Nursing Informatics Scholarship is open to students at Excelsior College. You must be working towards the certificate program in health care informatics or the master of science in nursing degree with an emphasis in informatics to eligible for this award.

The Vivian Runyon Memorial Scholarship is open to students at Excelsior College School of Liberal Arts. You must demonstrate financial need to be considered for this award. You must be enlisted, active duty personnel in the U.S. Armed Services will be given the highest priority.
