Scholarships at Guilford Technical Community College

The Brentwood Presbyterian Endowed Scholarship is available to students studying nursing at Guilford Technical Community College. You must be a resident of High Point, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 for your last semester completed and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. Faculty recommendation is required.

The Carson and Maggie Whitlow Scholarship is available to students attending Guilford Technical Community College. You must be a second-year emergency medical science major, a Guilford County resident and demonstrate financial need. In addition, recommendation of EMS faculty is required to be eligible for this award.

The Caterpillar Excellence Scholarship is available to students attending Guilford Technical Community College. You must be a HEATT major, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, and have a faculty recommendation to be eligible for this award.

The Early Childhood Education Scholarship is available to students attending Guilford Technical Community College. You must be a second-year student in the early childhood program, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need. In addition, faculty recommendation is required to be eligible for this award.

The Guilford Technical Community College Student Ambassador Scholarship is available to full-time students attending Guilford Technical Community College. You must have completed 12 to 30 credit hours at GTCC, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, display academic achievement and demonstrate leadership skills and interest in GTCC and the surrounding community to be eligible for this award. An interview will be required along with a letter of endorsement from a faculty/staff member.

The John Suits Endowed Dental Scholarship is available to students attending Guilford Technical Community College. You must be majoring in dental hygiene or dental assisting, be a resident of the western Piedmont of North Carolina, demonstrate financial need and display academic achievement to be eligible for this award.

The Phillip C. Wray Endowed Scholarship is available to students attending Guilford Technical Community College. You must be a second-year EMS student, enrolled at least half time (6 or more credit hours per semester), and have recommendation of EMS faculty to be eligible for this award.

The Tony Coble Aviation Scholarship is available to students attending Guilford Technical Community College who are currently enrolled in the career pilot technology program pursuing instrument and commercial certificates. You must have already earned your private pilot license, demonstrate financial need and submit an essay to be eligible for this award.

The William and Juanita Venalbe Endowed Scholarship is available to students attending Guilford Technical Community College. You must be a pre-engineering or nursing major, a resident of North Carolina, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Women's Hospital of Greensboro Auxiliary Scholarship is available to students attending Guilford Technical Community College. You must be enrolled in the GTCC Nursing Program, participate in the Student Nursing Association, have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.
