Scholarships at University of North Carolina at Charlotte

The Bonnie E. Cone Scholarship for Merit is available to entering freshmen attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must rank in the top ten percent of your graduating class, have a minimum SAT score of 1200 or an equivalent ACT score and show evidence of leadership and service in school and/or community to be eligible for this award. In addition, you must be a U.S. citizen and demonstrate high moral character.

The Cameron Morrison Scholarship for Merit is available to entering freshmen attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must be a graduate of a public high school in Mecklenburg County and demonstrate academic excellence and financial need to be eligible for this award.

Scholarship for undergraduate students pursuing studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte majoring in Engineering. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. The D.W. Colvard Scholarship for Merit is available to entering freshmen attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must show evidence of leadership and service in school and/or community to be eligible for this award. Preference shall be given to residents of North Carolina.

The E. K. Fretwell Scholarship for Merit is available to entering freshmen attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must rank in the top ten percent of your graduating class, have a minimum SAT score of 1200 or an equivalent ACT score and show evidence of leadership and service in school and/or community to be eligible for this award.

The Epley Associates Scholarship In Public Relations is available to juniors or seniors attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must be majoring in communication studies and have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be eligible for this award. Preference shall be given to students earning the Certificate in International Public Relations.

The Fay and Cal Mitchell Scholarship for Merit is available to entering freshmen attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must rank in the top ten percent of your graduating class, have a minimum SAT score of 1200 or an equivalent ACT score and show evidence of leadership and service in school and/or community to be eligible for this award.

The Fran and David Taylor Non-traditional Student Scholarship is available to non-traditional students attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be eligible for this award.

Scholarship for college juniors or seniors attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte who have expressed an interest in the multi-family housing field. Students must be majoring in Finance, Construction and Management, or related field, and demonstrate financial need. Deadlines and award amounts may vary. The Joshua B. Earley Memorial Scholarship is available to freshmen attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must be majoring in fire safety engineering technology and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. Preference shall be given to children of firefighters from Cabarrus and Mecklenburg County.

Scholarship for North or South Carolina residents who are college juniors or seniors attending Clemson University or the University of North Carolina in Charlotte preparing for a career in a technological field majoring in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Computer Sciences or related fields. Students must have a minimum 3.0 CGPA and academic major must meet the requirements of the U.S. Patent Office for admission as a patent agent or attorney. Deadlines and award amounts may vary. The Make A Difference Scholarship is available to students attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must be majoring in special education to be eligible for this award. Preference shall be given to male students.

The Nish Jamgotch, Jr. Humanitarian Student Award is available to students attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. The award is presented to a student whose creative achievements most clearly elevate the quality of life and show solid promise of enhancing the survival, dignity and wellbeing of humankind.

The Non-traditional Student Organization Scholarship is available to non-traditional students attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must be a member of the Non-traditional Student Organization and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Philip Morris Educational Leadership Doctoral Fellowship is available to doctoral students attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must be enrolled in the educational leadership program to be eligible for this award.

The Reece A. Overcash Alumni Scholarship for Merit is available to entering freshmen attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must rank in the top ten percent of your graduating class, have a minimum SAT score of 1200 or an equivalent ACT score and show evidence of leadership and service in school and/or community to be eligible for this award.

The Rising Star Scholarship is available to non-traditional students attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must be a single parent, have a minimum GPA of 2.8, demonstrate financial need and be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this award.

The Robert G. Fowler, Jr. Esquire International Scholarship is available to students attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must be majoring in political science or international studies or minoring in international studies, have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours with at least 12 hours in international/crosscultural studies and have a minimum GPA of 3.2 to be eligible for this award. In addition, you must have participated in extracurricular and/or community activities which demonstrate an interest beyond classroom study in international or legal issues. Special consideration shall be given to students considering a career in law.

The Ronald Anderson Memorial Scholarship is available to seniors attending the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. You must be majoring in counseling, special education or child development and be seeking a career in teaching to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to candidates who have experienced significant physical difficulties.
