The Dolores Parker Morgan Scholarship is offered to freshmen majoring in music at Kent State University. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to minority students. An audition and music theory placement test are required. You may be eligible to renew this award if service requirements are fulfilled and sufficient artistic development is made.

The Flashes Go Further Scholarship is open to incoming new first-year students, incoming Freshmen and Sophomore transfer students (Kent State is accepting 0-59 credit hours), and returning Freshmen and Sophomores (0-59 overall earned credit hours) enrolling full-time at the Kent Campus for the fall semester. You must be a resident of Ohio, be working towards a bachelor's degree, and demonstrate financial need in order to be considered for this award.

The Frances B. Murphey Scholarship is open to sophomore, junior and senior females interested in pursuing careers in news at Kent State University. You must have a minimum 2.75 GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Frances Schwebel Solomon Food Service Management Scholarship is open to full-time Kent State University freshmen, sophomores and juniors majoring in hospitality food service management. You must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and faculty recommendations to be eligible for this renewable award. You must also demonstrate participation in extracurricular activities and food service work experience.

Selection for this award is also based on GPA, test scores, honors, awards, and volunteer activities.

The Lily-Christine Wallach Endowed Scholarship is open to freshmen at Kent State University. You must be a music education major with a concentration in piano to be considered for this award. This award is renewable provided you demonstrate artistic development and fulfill all service requirements.

The Linda M. Allard '62/ Ellen Tracy Founders Medallion Scholarship is open to incoming freshmen at Kent State University. You must be a visual art major with a minimum 3.5 GPA and a minimum 25 ACT/ 1140 SAT score to be considered for this award.

The Linerode-Irmiter Hospitality Management Scholarship is open to continuing undergraduate students at Kent State University who are majoring in hospitality and food service management. You must demonstrate academic achievement, leadership abilities and work experience in the food service field and be a U.S. citizen to be considered for this award. A minimum 3.0 GPA is also required.
