Scholarships at Ohio University-Southern Campus

The H.B. Doc Riley, Chapter 51, Disabled American Veterans Scholarship is available to full-time students at Ohio University-Southern. You must be a graduate of a Lawrence County high school, have a disabled veteran in your family, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to qualify for this award. An additional essay on the importance of the U.S. military and demonstrated financial need are also required.

The Ironton Co-Operative Club Scholarship is available to female undergraduate and graduate students at Ohio University-Southern. You must have a minimum 3.5 GPA to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to non-traditional students and students with special circumstances.

The Ironton Jr. Women's Club Scholarship is available to female undergraduate students at Ohio University-Southern. You must be a single parent or non-traditional student over the age of 25 to be eligible for this award.

The Military Order of the Purple Heart Chapter 765 Scholarship is available to full-time students at Ohio University-Southern. You must be a Lawrence County resident, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and be the child, grandchild or spouse of a Purple Heart recipient to be eligible for this award.

The Richard Lee Thornton Memorial Scholarship is available to full-time students at Ohio University-Southern. You must be majoring in electronic media, have earned 30 or more credit hours, and have a minimum 2.7 GPA to be eligible for this award.
