Boren Scholarships fund study abroad by U.S. undergraduate students in world regions critical to U.S. interests, including Africa, Asia, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Boren Fellowships similarly fund research and language study proposals by U.S. graduate students. Recipients commit to a one-year federal service requirement in positions related to national security.

The Engineering Honors Scholarship is available to new students majoring in engineering who are eligible for one of the four presidential scholarship awards. The OWLS Scholarship incentivizes Oregon Tech-bound students to complete STEM-related dual credit coursework in high school.
