Scholarship for full- or half-time undergraduate or graduate students with end stage renal disease or are awaiting or have received a kidney transplant who are attending Penn State University. If there are no qualified applicants consideration will be given to students with a chronic renal condition or disorder. Applicants must have demonstrated need, have been enrolled as a resident instruction student at any Penn State location for a minimum of two semesters, have superior academic records, and show promist of success in their chosen field. Preference is given to students with chronic health problems, sight or hearing impairments, or inability to walk or other physical disabilities. Number of awards and award amount may vary.

Scholarship for entering freshmen at Penn State Univeristy enrolled in the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences. Applicants must have a minimum 3.7 GPA and a minimum SAT score of 1250. All students admitted to the College are automatically considered for the award. Nonrenewable.
