Non-endowed scholarship, $1500 for fall semester 2012 for any student. Must be full time student and would prefer the student to have at least at 3.0 maintained. Community service and extra curricular activities will provide extra points for this scholarship.

Scholarships available to support students who have a desire to start a career in the petrochemical industry in the field of process operator or instrument technician. Preference given to graduates from BHISD, GCCISD and Anahuac ISD who have been accepted into Lee College Process Technology or Instrumentation Technology Associate Degree Programs. Students who receive the scholarship will receive ½ of the award amount in the 1st semester and will receive the remaining ½ of the award for the 2nd semester.

Four 2-year scholarships for students who pursue a Certificate of Completion or an Associate’s of Applied Science in Instrumentation, Electrical, Process, or Analyzer Technology or Industrial Systems (Machine or Millwright). The scholarship will cover a student’s tuition, fees and books. Full-time students must be enrolled in at least 6 hours of major specific courses each semester to retain the scholarship. A GPA of at least 2.5 must be maintained, the student must attend class at least 80% of the time, and must complete his/her courses successfully to retain the scholarship.

These scholarships were established by Kay and Jay Eshbach to provide financial assistance to students whose parents or grandparents attended Lee College. This is a non-Foundation scholarship.

Honors scholarship for social science major. Based on merit and need. Students must be enrolled in one or more honors courses and/or students who have signed an honors contract.

Two-year scholarships for students studying Process Technology (1 scholarship for AAS), Instrumentation Technology (2 scholarships for AAS) or Electrical Technology (2 scholarships for AAS). Must be a US citizen and must be a Texas resident. Recipients must maintain continuous enrollment in his or her declared major and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 or forfeit the remainder of their scholarship. All recipients will be required to complete their degree in three years or less.

Scholarships for studying Process Technology (2 scholarships for AAS), Safety Management (1 for AAS, 1 for certificate) and Analytical Instrumentation (1 for AAS, 1 for certificate). Must be a US citizen and must be a Texas resident. Recipients must maintain continuous enrollment in his or her declared major and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 or forfeit the remainder of their scholarship.

He was a proud veteran of the Marine Corps, loved hot rods, and was active in the Historic Goose Creek Association for many years. He was an avid golfer who played all over the world – the ultimate game was, of course The Old Course at St. Andrews in Scotland. He was a Kiwanian and in 2017, he and Judy were recognized at the Baytown Chapter American Diabetes Ball.
