Scholarships at College of the Mainland

The BP PTEC African American Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. You must be a process technology major, have at least a 3.0 GPA and be from an underrepresented group to be eligible for this award.

The Danny Boswell Memorial Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. You must be taking at least 12 credits per semester and have a minimum 2.5 GPA. You must also be a resident of the college district and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. Preference will be given to students with deceased parents, students from single parent families or to parents from such households seeking to continue their education.

The Darde Humanities Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. You must be majoring in communications, fine arts, social or behavioral science with the intent to earn an Associates of Arts degree. You must also have at least a 3.0 while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours to be eligible for this award.

The Griz and Helen Eckert Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. You must have at least a 3.0 GPA while taking a minimum 12 credit hours per semester to be eligible for this award.

The Janice C. Register Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. You must be a woman pursuing an education to re-enter the workforce to be eligible for this award.

The Jeffery Martin Memorial Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. You must be a graduate of Texas City High School and have at least a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. Preference will be given to students with an interest in church or school music.

The Jim and Carol Yarbrough Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. You must be a Galveston County resident and have at least a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Jimmy Hayley Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. You must have at least a 3.0 GPA while taking a minimum 12 credit hours per semester to be eligible for this award. Preference will be given to graduates of La Marque and Texas City high schools.

The Rockwell International Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. You must be a science or engineering major, have a minimum 3.0 GPA while taking at least 12 credit hours per semester to be eligible for this award.

The Texas City Lions Club Nursing Scholarship is available to nursing students entering College of the Mainland. You must be a graduating senior from Texas City High School. You must also be a full-time student with at least a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Texas Firefighters Foundation Scholarship is available to students at College of the Mainland. First preference will be given to dependents or immediate family members of Texas firefighters killed or disabled in the line of duty.
