Candidates should score at least a 1400 on the SAT or 32 on the ACT. Selection also based on quality and rigor of the high school academic record, performance on SAT or ACT, evidence of leadership, quality of written essay, personal interview with a member of admission staff, content of recommendation letters, and involvement in extracurricular activities.
