Scholarships at Texas Christian University

The Transfer Chancellors Scholarship is open to transfer students at Texas Christian University. You must have a minimum 3.25 GPA, and have either an associate's degree or at least 64 transferable hours of course work. You must also have outstanding personal qualities, and participate in outside activities or have work experience. This award covers full tuition for up to two years provided you completed at least 27 hours of "letter grade" course work with a minimum 3.25 GPA.

The Choir (Voice) Scholarship is available to some members of the University Choral Program. Awards are renewable upon recommendation of Choral Director and maintenance of satisfactory academic progress.

The Dean's Scholarship is open to entering freshmen at Texas Christian University. Your selection is based on class rank, recommendations, test scores, essay and co-curricular activities. This scholarship is renewable provided you complete at least 24 hours of "letter grade" course work per year with at least a 3.0 GPA following your freshman year and a 3.25 GPA every year after that.

The Faculty Scholarship is open to entering freshmen at Texas Christian University. Your selection is based on class rank, recommendations, test scores, essay and co-curricular activities. This scholarship is renewable provided you complete at least 27 hours of "letter grade" course work per year with at least a 3.0 GPA following your freshman year and a 3.25 GPA every year after that.

The Marching Band Scholarship is available to some members of the Horned Frog Band. Awards are renewable upon recommendation of the Band Director and maintenance of satisfactory academic progress.

The Music Composition Scholarship is available to students enrolled in School of Music.

The Orchestra (String) is available to some members of the University Choral Program. Awards are renewable upon recommendation of Choral Director and maintenance of satisfactory academic progress.

The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship is open to transfer students at Texas Christian University. You must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa, have a minimum 3.25 GPA, and have completed at least 27 hours of transferable course work to be considered for this award.

The Piano Scholarship is available to students enrolled in School of Music.

The Production and Activity Scholarships is available to theatre students in exchange for 10 hours of production work each week in the department.

The TCU/TCC Cornerstone Scholarship is open to transfer students at Texas Christian University. You must have a minimum 3.25 GPA, and participated in Tarrant County College's Cornerstone Scholars program to be considered for this award. You must also have completed your course work at Tarrant County Junior College (two years full-time coursework or an Associate's Degree). This award is renewable provided you complete at least 27 hours of "letter grade" course work with a minimum 3.25 GPA.

The Transfer Deans Scholarship is open to transfer students at Texas Christian University. You must have a minimum 3.25 GPA and have completed at least 27 hours of transferable course work to be considered for this renewable award.

The Transfer TCU Scholarship is open to transfer students at Texas Christian University. You must have completed at least 27 hours of transferable course work with a minimum 3.25 GPA to be considered for this award.
