Scholarships at The University of Texas at San Antonio

The College of Sciences Dean's Scholarship is available to entering freshman at the University of Texas, San Antonio. You must be enrolled in the College of Sciences to be eligible for this award.

The Dr. Harold G. Longbotham Endowed Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate and graduate students at the University of Texas, San Antonio. You must be majoring in mathematics, statistics, or physics, to be eligible for this award.

The Emily Zachry Ansley Endowed Scholarship is available to undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Sciences at the University of Texas, San Antonio.

The Field Camp Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate geology majors at the University of Texas, San Antonio. This award is meant to assist with summer field camp expenses.

The Jones-Amsbury Research Grant is available to undergraduate and graduate geology majors at the University of Texas, San Antonio. You must be conducting research directly related to the geology of South Texas to be eligible for this award.

The Michael Maltrud Scholarship in Computer Science is available to full-time undergraduate and graduate computer science majors at the University of Texas, San Antonio. You must have completed at least 60 hours with a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. Primary preference will be given to graduates of Marshall High School. Secondary preference will be given to students who demonstrate financial need.

The Minority Access to Research Careers (MARC) Program is available to junior and senior biology and chemistry majors at the University of Texas, San Antonio. You must be a U.S. citizen, be committed to attending graduate school and pursuing a career in biomedical research, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to students from disadvantaged backgrounds. You must submit two letters of recommendation and a statement of your career goals to be eligible for this award.

The Nathaniel Stokes Memorial Scholarship in Computer Science is available to computer science majors at the University of Texas, San Antonio. You must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours to be eligible for this award.

The Robert A. Welch Foundation Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate chemistry majors at the University of Texas, San Antonio. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Sam Madrid Jr. Scholarship is available to students enrolled in the College of Sciences at the University of Texas, San Antonio. You must have graduated from a San Antonio area high school and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. Financial need is a consideration.
