Scholarships at Longwood University

The Hull Scholars Excellence in Education Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen at Longwood University. You must pursue a degree leading to teacher licensure in elementary, secondary or special education to be eligible for this award. Additionally, you must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and have a minimum 1200 SAT score to be eligible for this renewable full-tuition award.

The Patricia Finn Graves Scholarship is available to students at Longwood University. You must have graduated from West Springfield High School with at least a 3.0 GPA and plan to pursue a degree in teacher education to be eligible for this award.

The Pearl H. Jones Scholarship is available to freshman students at Longwood University. You must demonstrate academic achievement to be eligible for this award.

The President Initiative Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen who will enroll in the School of Business and Economics at Longwood University. You must have a minimum 3.25 GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Ruth Jennings Adams Pattor Scholarship is available to English or modern language students at Longwood University.

The Sally Barksdale Hargrett Senior Scholarship is available to seniors who have completed three years of academic work at Longwood University. You must have the highest cumulative GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Silveria Scholarship is available to English or modern languages students at Longwood University.

The Sue Simmons Goodrich Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate honors students at Longwood University.

The Transfer Scholarship is available to transfer students at Longwood University. You must have earned an associate's degree in a university-parallel program at a community college to be eligible for this award. This award is renewable if you maintain a minimum GPA of 3.25.

The Virginia Estes Bedford Memorial Scholarship is available to art students at Longwood University.
