Scholarships at Virginia Commonwealth University

Scholarship for Asian-American, Hispanic American, African-American, Native-American incoming graduate students enrolled full-time at the Virginia Commonwealth University Adcenters Creative Media Planning program. Students must be U.S. citizens/permanent residents, have financial need, and demonstrate promise in media planning and/or buying. Due date and number of awards may vary.

The Alcoa Foundation Community Scholarship is available to entering freshmen at Virginia Commonwealth University. You must be from the Richmond area and be majoring in business, engineering, or technology to be eligible for this award.

The Deans' Scholarship is available to outstanding entering freshmen at Virginia Commonwealth University.

Scholarship for South Hampton Roads, Virginia residents who are graduate students enrolled full-time at Eastern Virginia Medical School, the University of Virginia School of Medicine, or Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. Students must have financial need and be longtime Virginia residents. Number of awards may vary. A personal statement and a copy of parents income tax return must be included with application packet. Scholarship for African American, Asian American, Hispanic American, Native American, multiracial, or multiethnic graduate students enrolled at the Virginia Commonwealth University Adcenter majoring in Advertising with a concentration in Media. Students must demonstrate financial need, commitment, leadership skills, and be U.S. citizens/permanent residents. Due date and number of awards may vary.
