The Charles Magill Fauntleroy Scholarship is available to students at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine. You must demonstrate high standards of scholarship and honor to be eligible for this award.

Scholarship for South Hampton Roads, Virginia residents who are undergraduate students enrolled full-time at the University of Virginia. Students must have financial need and be graduates of Maury High School. Number of awards may vary. Scholarship for South Hampton Roads, Virginia residents who are undergraduate students enrolled full-time at the College of William and Mary, James Madison University, the University of Virginia, or Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University. Students must be graduates of a Chesapeake Public School, demonstrate academic achievement and potential for citizenship and leadership. Number of awards may vary. The James L. Minor Scholarship is available to students at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine.

Annual fellowships for graudate students attending the University of Virginia that are enrolled in the doctoral and terminal degree program. Selection is based on merit. Applicants must attend the selection weekend to be considered. In addition to fellowship recipients recieve an research stipend. Renewable.

Employee-Related awards for undergraduate students enrolled at University of Virginias College at Wise who are employees, are dependents of employees, or their spouse is an employee in the mining industry in Southwest Virginia. Employee must have worked in the mining industry for a minimum of five years (not necessarily consecutive). Selection based on financial need and merit. Preference will be given to miners or family members of unemployed, disabled, or retired miners. Due date and number of awards may vary. Renewable.

Scholarship for graduating high school seniors from a Mathews County, Virginia high school planning to attend the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Students must demonstrate academic achievement and participation in school and community activities. Preference given to students interested in teaching children with learning disabilities. Number of awards may vary. A personal statement must be included with application packet.

Scholarship for graduating high school seniors from a Tri-Cities, Prince George County, or Chesterfield County, Virginia high school planning to attend the College of William and Mary, Longwood College, Randolph-Macon College, Randolph Macon Womans College, The School of Pharmacy at MCV/VCU, or the University of Virginia. Students must demonstrate academic achievement, financial need, and school and community activities. Number of awards may vary. A personal statement must be included with application packet. Annual award for an undergraduate Arlington, VA resident attending the University of Virginia. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and must have demonstrated financial need. Selection will be based on students academic record and character. Renewable. Due date varies.

Annual award for undergraduate students who are members of PMI-ISSIG-Washington, D.C. Chapter or members dependents attending the University of Maryland, University of Virginia Tech, George Washington University, American University, or George Mason University who are majoring in Project Management or related field. Selection is based on academic record, co-curricular and extracurricular performance, future potential for academic success, resume, and three letters of reference.

Scholarship for lineal descendants of eligible Confederates or collateral descendants who are members of Children of the Confederacy or United Daughters of the Confederacy and are graduate students enrolled at the University of Virginia School of Law. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in high school and be endorsed by the President, the Second Vice President/Education Chairman of Chapter and Division, and the Second Vice President General. Number of awards and award amount may vary. A copy of Confederate ancestors proof of service, copy of students birth certificate, lineage form, letter of endorsement from sponsoring United Daughters of the Confederacy Chapter, financial report form, personal letter, and a wallet size photograph must be included with application packet.
