You must be a graduate of a Fayette County high school, be a U.S. citizen, and have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this renewable award.

The Robert T. Donley Scholarship is available to students at the West Virginia University, College of Law. You must be a second-year student to be eligible for this renewable award.

Scholarship for female undergraduate students enrolled at the West Virginia University-Morgantown. You must be a West Virginia resident, have a minimum 2.5 GPA, and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. The Smyers Memorial Endowed Scholarship is available to entering freshman music majors at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. You must have a letter of recommendation from your band director to be eligible for this award. Selection is based on an audition, personal interview, GPA and class standing.

Scholarship for West Virginia residents who are graduating high school seniors planning to attend West Virginia University. Students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA, be National Merit Finalists, and named West Virginia University as their first choice of schools. Applicants must have taken the PSAT/NMSQT test as juniors in high school. Award amount and number of awards may vary. Renewable.

The Valley Medical Emergency Medical Services, Inc. Scholarship is available to full-time students at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. To be eligible, you must be enrolled in a program that has a logical and direct patient benefit to health care and the provision of medical services, such as emergency medical tech, nursing and pre-medicine. Additionally, you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. Preference is given to students currently working in jobs giving direct patient care, residents of the Upper Kanawha Valley (Quincy to Hico, both sides of the Kanawha River), and/or children of EMT personnel.

The Vencill Endowed Scholarship is available to sophomore, junior and senior students at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be eligible for this award.

The Verizon Scholarship is available to junior and senior students majoring in business, technical and education fields at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. You must be in the upper one-fourth of your class based on GPA, demonstrate leadership abilities through extracurricular involvement in college-related organizations, be a U.S. citizen and West Virginia resident for at least 24 months prior to enrollment at WVU Tech, and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. All other qualifications being nearly equal, preference will be given to a child or ward of an active Verizon West Virginia employee.

Scholarship for African-American full-time graduate students enrolled at West Virginia University College of Law. Students must be U.S. citizens. Number of awards may vary.

Scholarship for West Virginia residents who are undergraduate students enrolled at West Virginia University School of Engineering. Students must have financial need and academic ability. Preference given to students from Raleigh County, West Virginia. Number of awards and award amount may vary. Scholarship for third-year graduate students enrolled at West Virginia University College of Law. Students must demonstrate the greatest grade point average improvement in the second year of law school. Number of awards may vary.

The West Virginia Nurses Association Scholarship is available to sophomore, junior and senior nursing students at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center. You must be a resident of West Virginia and have the highest grade point average and the highest level of financial need to be eligible for this award.

The Westmoreland Coal Company Endowed Scholarship is available to full-time engineering majors at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and be a resident of Boone, Logan, Lincoln, Mingo, Raleigh, Kanawha or Wyoming County to be eligible for this award. All criteria being equal, extra weight shall be given to an applicant from a coal mining family.

Scholarship for graduating high school seniors from Ritchie County High School planning to attend West Virginia University in Parkersburg specifically involving studies at the Caperton Center for Applied Technology. Selection is based on academic achievement or potential in the area of vocational and/or technical studies, honesty, good moral character, service to the community, and financial need. The WV Society District of Columbia Endowed Scholarship is available to entering freshman students at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. You must be a West Virginia resident to be eligible for this award, which is to be used to purchase textbooks.

The WVNA Vance Scholarship is available to junior and senior nursing students at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center. You must have at least a 3.0 GPA, be a current member of WVNA or WVSNA and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award. Two faculty references and a self evaluation form are required.

The WVUH Scholars Program is available to junior and senior nursing students at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center. You must intend to work at the West Virginia University Hospital, have at least a 3.4 GPA and submit a letter of reference. Seniors must commit to at least one year of work at WVUH and juniors must commit to at least two years of work at WVUH to be eligible for this award.

The WVUIT-SHRM Scholarship is available to students at West Virginia University Institute of Technology. You must be an active member of WVUIT-SHRM who is in good standing and have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be eligible for this award.
