Scholarships at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire

The Barbara J. Brenner Tremble Memorial Scholarship is open to students at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire who have a physical disability with preference for students who have cystic fibrosis. Preference is also given to juniors and seniors who demonstrate financial need.

The Daisy Longren Scholarship is open to special education majors at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. You must be a full-time student with a minimum 3.0 GPA and plan to teach mentally handicapped and disadvantaged students to qualify for this award. Preference is given to state applicants, particularly those who plan to teach in Wisconsin after graduation.

The Donald G. and Dorothy Wing Pratt Scholarship is open to entering freshmen at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. You must be graduating from North High School of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and demonstrate high academic standing to be eligible for the award.

The Eleanor Eddis and Theodore R. Fults Memorial Scholarship is open to undergraduate elementary education majors at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. You must have completed at least one year of course work, and demonstrate significant academic quality and promise for the teaching profession.

The Elizabeth G. Morris English Scholarship is open to senior English-teaching majors at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. You must have a minimum 3.5 GPA to qualify for this award. Preference is given to students who have used their electives to achieve a degree of parity among courses in the English language, in composition, and in literature. Preference is also given to students pursuing careers as a middle school or secondary school English teacher.

The George T. and Clayton T. Piercy Memorial Scholarship is open to juniors at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. You must have a minimum 3.8 GPA and demonstrate academic achievement and participation in extracurricular activities to qualify for this award.

The Grace M. Walsh Forensics Scholarship is open to debate and forensics majors at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire.

The Kell Container Faculty/Student Collaborative Research Scholarship is open to juniors and seniors enrolled in the College of Business at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. You must be involved in faculty/student research.

The Maxine Marion Otis Trimberger Scholarship is open to library science minors at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. You must have a major in communication art, theatre arts or other teaching discipline and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

The Sentry Insurance Student Leadership Scholarship is open to incoming freshmen at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. You must rank in the top 15 percent of you graduating class and be majoring in one of the following fields of study: business administration, computer science, information systems, accounting, finance, mathematics, or engineering. You must rank in the top 15 percent of your graduating class and be involved in extracurricular activities, community activities and charitable organizations. Special consideration is given to the dependents of Sentry Insurance employees.

The Ursula Emery Scholarship is open to library science and media education minors at the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. You must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and either demonstrate field experience or be student teaching in the minor to be considered for the award.

The UWEC Foundation Music Scholarship is open to music majors at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. The application deadline for entering students corresponds to audition dates. For continuing students, the deadline is prior to final jury examinations.
