Up to $15,000/yr for four years · Deadline: June 24th, 2026 · First-year or transfer (<45 credits) student with 3.0+ HS GPA (or 2.5 college GPA), low-income per FAFSA SAI, interested in STEM majors, and US citizen/national/eligible noncitizen/permanent resident.
The ACCESS in STEM Scholarship supports incoming first-year or transfer students at UW Tacoma who are interested in STEM majors such as Math, Biomedical Sciences, Environmental Science, Computer Science, IT, or Engineering. Recipients receive financial support along with mentoring, research experience, and participation in a STEM living-learning community.

The Dressel Scholars Program at UW Tacoma provides financial support, mentorship, and special leadership development opportunities to undergraduate students who have demonstrated academic and service potential but may lack opportunities to fully realize it.
